This creation was born from an encounter.
On the beaches of Ouidah, we had the chance to speak with Maman Kpatènon, the guardian of precious knowledge about shells.
Through her stories, we discovered how important these elements of nature are in the daily life, traditions, knowledge, and spirituality of the coastal communities of Benin.
This encounter deeply marked us.
It reminded us of the importance of preserving the knowledge passed down from generation to generation.
This is the emotion that inspired Kantchitcha.

Symbols then allow us to reconnect with what makes us who we are.
The cowrie shell is one of these symbols.
Present in many African cultures, it evokes transmission, protection, memory, and the bond between generations.

Your piece is made to order in our workshop in Benin.
Allow approximately 4 weeks for production before shipping (maximum delivery time: 60 days after ordering).

RETURNS WITHIN 14 DAYS
You have 14 days after receipt to return your jewelry to us, unworn and in its original box. Returns are made via DHL at your expense.

We recommend avoiding repeated contact with seawater, perfume, or chemicals to preserve the shine of the jewelry over time.

Yes. Some creations can be adapted upon request. You can contact us before placing your order for any details regarding the size.

Our creations are handcrafted in small batches or to order, with texture, symbolism, and finishing work that requires production time.
